Hope everyone had an excellent July 4 holiday.

August classes are going to be great, and again Carl has worked hard to make this happen for you. The GM High security class needs to borrow your high security machines, if you can help with this let Carl know. Anyone that would like to teach a class, please let Carl know (if you don’t know, the instructor receives the same credit hours as the students). If you have any ideas for a class let Carl know.

Hopefully during the July NCLLB meeting the newly formed liaison committee can begin the process of working on the changes to strengthen our law. Remember should you have any ideas please forward them to the Licensing Board - or you can send them to me and I will take them to the board meeting.

The number of members that attended the last business meeting was better. However, I think we can still improve on this number. I would like to know your feelings on moving the business meeting to 1 on Saturday and having class from 2 to 5, instead of class 1 to 4 and business meeting at 4:30.

Granger is willing to proctor the ALOA PRP test at a future meeting if anyone is interested. He must have a minimum of 5 people to give the test. I’m considering taking it just to see how much I know or don’t know. Come take it with me and we’ll see how smart we really are.
